Our Values

When working with new companies and new people, they quickly learn our values,
our direction and our high performance standards.
Quality Is Our Passion

We have a high standard of work and this is reflected in our finished product. The whole team believes in producing the best quality work possible and we are constantly innovating the way we do things to produce a better result.

Efficient Communication

We believe that efficient communication is effective communication. Quick time frame projects are made attainable when the communication throughout the company is flowing freely. Top to bottom, side to side – we believe in efficient communication.

Extreme Ownership

Like well trained Navy Seals we instil ownership into our team from the bottom up. We want our whole team to be fully engaged in our projects and we do that successfully by creating a team of leaders and an attitude of extreme ownership.

Critical Planning

We plan our jobs thoroughly through every stage of the process. From the first concept to the handover we believe in planning every detail. Whether it’s through material selection or clever design we’re constantly planning with the end in mind.

Solution Driven

Thinking outside the box. Thinking creatively. Thinking of the bigger picture. Call it what you will but we’re always looking for that solution to the problem. There are always going to be those things that cannot be foreseen but our team will remain vigilant in providing the best solution possible.

People and Culture Focussed

Our people are who we are. We’re proud of the team of people we have and the culture we have formed at Croudace. Everyone is selected by the values we deem most important and people are the key to our success.

…for the last nine years. With a passion for creating amazing spaces with real purpose, Mick’s favourite job to date is the ‘Trees’ feature joinery project at Colonnades Shopping Centre. He’s driven, enthusiastic and motivated and when he’s not at work (which isn’t often) he enjoys barbequing with family and friends and keeping fit by walking his dalmatian, Margot.

“I am most proud of the team that we have put together and the company culture that has been created. From our experienced trades on site to our new apprentices in the workshop, everyone gels together to make a project happen all whilst enjoying their day’s work with a joke and a smile” – Mick Croudace.

Deen recently completed his home renovation project and used his years of skills and expertise to create custom joinery pieces for his own home. When he’s not managing the joinery workshop with a smile on his face, he is spending time with his wife and two young children. Deen loves everything outdoors from camping to fishing and motorbike riding.

…for joinery, he is highly skilful but being the modest man he is, he wouldn’t tell you about it. He’s hardworking, committed and isn’t lacking character. Understandably he likes working at Croudace Constructs for the people but he also enjoys the high quality of work (especially using hardwoods), with the Crowne Plaza being his favourite project to date. When he’s not keeping the workshop in order or telling corny jokes, he enjoys cars, music and snowboarding around Australia and Europe.

In particular she enjoyed helping our project manager on an exciting project for Beerenberg Farm – a worldwide, iconic South Australian business (who doesn’t know Beerenberg jam!). Away from the computer Marcia enjoys community gardening anything edible, mycology (exploring new edible fungi) and spending time with her fur-fam.

Before handover we carry out a ‘defect inspection’ where our project manager and foreman meet on site to mark any works that aren’t meeting the high standard we expect. We then compile a short list of defects and call back the relevant trade to complete these works. This ensures that when we handover we are 100% happy with the final product.
