The Baristro

The Baristro, a family run, community friendly cafe, was looking to upgrade their outdated, existing fit out originally renovated by themselves. Ticking the boxes with their contemporary menu and great service, it was time for a trendy facelift to match.

Highlights include an extension of the existing counter with new timber panelling painted emerald green, accompanied by a Stone Ambassador benchtop. Predicted as one of the hottest colours for 2021 and with the biophilic design trend bigger than ever, the vibrant emerald green counter is an immediate stand out when you enter the cafe, adding a pop of bold colour and texture to the fit out.

Other features include built in arch display shelves lined with LEDs, which along with the magnetic menu board or ‘Baker Menu’ by George and Willy, creates an impressive feature wall behind the counter.

A takeaway waiting area was created with bench seating and industrial-style steel tube merchandise shelves behind. Staying on the industrial trend, black track lights were installed throughout the cafe along with feature pendant lights above the coffee machine.

To complete the fit out, the existing floor tiles were replaced with Polyflor (Expona Commercial 4030 in Dark Brushed Oak) flooring and mid century modern furniture was installed for dine in customers.
