Medi Pedi is Adelaide’s first clinic that combines podiatry knowledge and skills with its beauty services.
Following the success of the concept store, repeat client Georgie approached Croudace Constructs to complete the fitout for the Norwood, Glenelg and most recently the Goodwood location.
Working closely with Arketype the store concept remained consistent with the brand, welcoming clients to their treatment space as opposed to a typical medial style clinic.
Being the largest of the stores, initial works involved extensive demolition works of the previous restaurant tenant and commercial kitchen, new partition walls to modify the layout and a reconfigure of in ceiling services to suit the shared and consult spaces.
Having refined the building materials for each business location acoustic properties were applied through perforated ceiling linings and decorative echo paneling to select walls throughout.
The extensive joinery scope included new upholstered pedicure stations, reception counter, shelving, vanity cupboards with solid benchtops, kitchenette, hot desk and the relocation of an oversized medicure bench and feature overhead copper framework from the previous tenancy.
Croudace were conscious of scheduling noisy works, maintaining a clean and tidy site for the above neighbouring residence and responding to Strata’s needs during the fitout works, with an appreciation that these considerations are important also for the success of any project.
