05 Dec 3 Inspiring Hospitality Fitout Ideas
Are you looking for unique fitout design ideas for a hospitality space? We’ve pulled together some ideas of our favourite hospitality fitouts for you to be inspired.
1. Personalised LED lights
Neon lights or LED signage have become a popular feature for commercial spaces. It is a fun and quick way to brighten a room and capture people’s attention. You can opt for a motivational quote that resonates with you, a logo or certain shapes that reflect your business.
LED lights can be used to your advantage to help with the overall branding, look and feel of your hospitality business. Neon lights have become a cost-effective trend that you can use as a marketing tool. How? With LED lights, you can create an ‘instagramable’ backdrop for customers to take a photo to post online and tag your business, allowing you to reshare user-generated content.
For Pattysmiths Burgers, the client chose 3 LED light icons representing their business; milkshake, burger and fries, and we placed them behind a vibrant and lush green wall.
2. Industrial-style ceiling
More business owners are switching from the classic flush plasterboard ceiling to an open, industrial-style ceiling. An exposed ceiling with pipes and metalwork adds a contemporary touch and excellent texture to your fitout and can work well with your overall aesthetics.
Another advantage of an industrial-style ceiling is that it can make your space feel and look bigger. This is useful if you have a smaller hospitality space and want to create a more spacious feel. For Miyuki, we installed a suspended feature metalwork overhead for a modern, industrial look.
3. Add colour
Give your hospitality space a pop of colour. Whether it’s by adding a feature wall, bright-coloured furniture, or introducing a single accent colour. Colour is essential to your business no matter how it’s used. Your logo, shopfront or the colour of your furniture can evoke certain emotions and feelings. Colour is believed to have an impact on people’s decisions or behaviours as well.
For the Baristro Cafe fitout, we chose this beautiful emerald colour for the countertop, making the space much more dynamic and exciting. This bold colour does not overwhelm the commercial space but instead adds a focal point that people are drawn to. According to the Psychology of Design, “green evokes a feeling of abundance and is associated with refreshment and peace, rest and security.”
There are plenty of fitout designs you can incorporate to improve your commercial space. Whether it’s colour, acoustic or lighting, Croudace Constructs will work closely with you. We aim to deliver a custom fitout that meets your exact brief.
